Quiet anticipation, a message of preparation, a symbol of imminence, readiness amidst patience. A glimpse of light comes forth. In these pieces, I’ve explored new techniques: layered washes, fragments, scrapes and cuts, detailed marks and brushstrokes, balanced by softened faces, matte finishes, and a steady, minimalist composition.
